FCA MX Camp August 2008
Two students from the Wauseon area returned to the FCA Motocross Camp at Lakeville, OH. Mitch Weber and Luke George spent the first week in August increasing their riding skills and getting focused on God. Pro Motocross racers shared and challenged the riders to be focused on the course and in life.
Luke shares this: "During huddle times our leaders taught about the scripture that says to not worry about what happened, about what's behind; you can't do anything about it. Don't dwell on it. Focus on what you have to get done. In motocross that means that if you mess up in the previous moto, don't focus on it - focus on what you know."
Mitch shares, "During huddle time, they spoke about the verses that say, 'To learn, you must be taught, and to refuse teaching is stupid.'"

Bryan Soccer Camp
During the hottest week of the summer, July 14-17, 2008 - Coach Kim Pepple and her 21 student coaches ran one of the best new soccer camps for FCA! Despite the warm weather 23 campers had a great week of inspiration and perspiration. The campers came everyday with great attitudes, ready to learn, and willing to work hard. I was impressed with how they remembered the words of the day and the inspiring lessons taught. It was incredible to see so many high school student coaches serving and working one on one with campers. This camp is bound to be a big hit in future years!
